Research Through People Blog 3

It’s that time of year again! The annual Society of Genealogists’ Who Do You Think You Are? Live event is taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 6 – 8 April.

This is the 11th show and has the range of attractions that have proved of such interest to both experienced and novice family historians alike.

The Workshops feature an extensive number of speakers on a wide range of subjects. These include celebrity speakers whose ancestry has been on the BBC programme Who Do You Think You Are? like Danny Dyer and Sunetra Sarker; keynote speakers such as Dick Eastman; and others talking about practically every family history subject that you could think of.

One we are looking forward to is Robert Charles Anderson, the Director of the Great Migration Study Project in USA.

There are over 130 exhibitors from the big genealogy companies to Family History Societies to those providing specialist services. DNA is an increasing factor in genealogy.

And loads of expert advice, tips and guidance to enhance your own family history discoveries. More details can be found at http://www.whodoyouthinkyouarelive.com/.
